These masks are made with a double layer of fabric that is also interfaced to reduce micron size of particles able to pass through the fabric. In addition to the double layer, we provide a pouch you can put in stronger filter materials, such as cut up vacuum bags which were shown to be as high as 90% effective against .02 micron materials passing through it. These masks come with 2 5" fleece squares as a filter that can be reused and washed as well.
